Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8)


Department/Organization: 223102 - Nursing Instruction


Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm


Job Summary: The Training Coordinator develops, plans, organizes, directs, and oversees specialized training programs for a college, department, or division. Consults with subject matter experts and stakeholders as appropriate. Evaluates training effectiveness and achievement of learning outcomes and institutes changes or adjustments as appropriate. Provides coaching for Training Specialists and others as appropriate.


Additional Department Summary: Develops and delivers didactic components of paraprofessional curriculum. Develops and delivers related instructions for apprentices. Ensures successful completion of training competencies. Aids in trainee experience optimization. Evaluates field mentor effectiveness, training, and delivers the Train the Trainer Program. Makes all curriculum updates and revisions in collaboration with the project curriculum development experts. Makes site visits to evaluate trainee progress during the experiential field placement and apprenticeship program.


Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree or higher in behavioral health and/or substance use related field and some experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Ability to manage the application and admission process of prospective trainees and ensuring that trainees are meeting program competencies both for the didactic and experiential field training. Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
