Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $68,500 - Midpoint: $89,100 (Salaried E11)

Normal Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:45 pm


Job Summary: The Executive Director Community Engagement and Administration oversees central coordination of operations and plans for the Division of Community Affairs. Acts as the second-in-command to the Vice President for Community Affairs, taking a proactive role in the management team. Provides strategic support and representation in the overall operations of the Division, encompassing budget oversight, personnel management, and administrative functions. Drives strategic planning and leadership for academic and community partnerships, utilizing research-based methods and best practices to ensure effective implementation.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of development, fundraising, sales, communications and/or public relations experience; OR master's degree and six (6) years of development, fundraising, sales, communications and/or public relations experience.


Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in related field and 5 years in higher education or relevant environment with documented experience in initiating and leading innovative efforts that integrate the teaching, research, and service mission in ways the benefit both the academy and its community stakeholders. Direct experience with community organizations would be preferred.
