Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $19.33 - Midpoint: $24.18 (Hourly N5)


Department/Organization: 207253 - WUAL


Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some nights and weekends.


Job Summary: The Associate Creative Media Producer designs and produces low-complexity creative multimedia programming under close supervision. Assists other Creative Media Producers.


Additional Department Summary: Produces digital content utilized in conjunction with broadcast and non-broadcast programming. Works closely with external contacts, including clients and interview subjects, and with professional staff, faculty and students from the University.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design; OR associate's degree fine arts, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, or graphic design and two (2) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience; OR a high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of broadcast or multimedia writing, production, and/or direction experience.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Will work long hours and on week-ends and holidays as necessary. Required to lift, handle and maneuver tools, materials and supplies of the job up to 10 pounds.

Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.


Skills and Knowledge: Experience working with content and social media management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to understand, interpret and manage digital analytics. Ability to work independently. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated success in working as part of a creative team.
