POSITION
   Instructor of Music Theory. The School of Music at the University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time, instructor. This position is a non-tenure earning, renewable 3-year appointment.
   RESPONSIBILITIES
   Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in music theory and supervising graduate teaching assistants. Anticipated course load: 12 credit hours per semester.
   QUALIFICATIONS
   Ph.D. in music theory; Ph.D. candidates currently working on dissertations will be considered. Successful college teaching experience is required.
