Job Summary: The VitAL Service and Implementation Project Director oversees the development of clinical services and implementation support. Builds networks and maintains long-term business relations with VitAL stakeholders and the provider community. Serves as a clinical resource to VitAL team members and collaborators on clinical problems, procedures, curriculum development, etc. Maintains contemporary and innovative approaches to service provision and program implementation, incorporating best practices for integration. Develops monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual program evaluation reports. Attends regular service and implementation team meetings. Contributes to required reports with project directors and the VitAL Director to federal and state funders / stakeholders.
Additional Department Summary: VitAL currently has programs and services in all 67 counties across Alabama. This position will oversee VitAL programs/projects which are directed toward aiding and providing service and implementation support to meet the challenges of the state’s mental wellness and resilience capacity, which includes mental health, substance use disorders, and social determinants of health related services, programs, and activities.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of project management experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of project management experience.

Solid decision-making skills to solve problems and to work through barriers that may impact progress. Ability to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to network and build long-term relations within the stakeholders and the educational community.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in higher education administration or a behavioral health field. Ten (10) years in clinical services and an understanding of clinical policies and guidelines.
