Job Summary: The Manderson Recruiting and Admissions Program Manager oversees marketing, recruiting, and admission activities of the Manderson Graduate School of Business. Develops and implements strategies to recruit a highly selective, nationally-competitive cohort of students to the MBA Program. Works with institutes of higher education in outreach and relationship-building initiatives to promote Manderson graduate programs through campus visits, presentations, and participation in career fairs. Utilize digital and social media marketing, electronic search methods, including the Graduate Management Admission Search Service (GMASS), and connections with alumni and supporters to attract and identify prospective students. Develops and implements an admissions process that effectively guides prospects from applicants to becoming admitted and seated students in graduate programs. Collects and maintains the data to produce statistical reports and to monitor and improve marketing and admissions.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of recruitment, university admissions, public relations, marketing, sales, or communications experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of recruitment, university admissions, public relations, marketing, sales, or communications experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work outside of normal business hours and travel, primarily in the southeastern U.S.
Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to gain support of students, alumni, faculty, staff, administration, and corporate executives. Ability to motivate staff, students, volunteers, and alumni. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Attention to detail. Proficiency in digital and social media marketing.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate business degree. Experience recruiting graduate students in a business program.
