Pay Grade/Pay Range:  Minimum: $56,600 - Midpoint: $73,600 (Salaried E9)


Department/Organization: 217105 - HES Student Services


Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The College Academic Records Manager provides student record oversight, degree auditing, registration assistance, and catalog preparation for a college.


Additional Department Summary: Provides accurate information to preclude potential problems. Keeps accurate and current data on all students. Constructs database utilizing knowledge, efficiency, acquisition of the requisite information and continual refinement of current data to maintain viable database. Exercises sound and thoughtful judgment.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of academic advising or student academic record experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of academic advising or student academic record experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of University and College policies and procedures. Advanced level of knowledge of degree programs (requirements, sequence, etc.). Knowledge of transfer credits from institutions and compatibility with the University programs. Knowledge of computer software packages and the ability to develop and maintain relevant databases. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with others, both verbally and in writing. Good planning, coordinating, and organizing skills. Good analytical skills. Ability to work independently and self-direct. Ability to act with initiative. High level of problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Registrar or assisting a Registrar.
