Capstone College of Nursing

The Capstone College of Nursing (CCN) at The University of Alabama offers a full range of undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, including our traditional BSN, online RN‑to‑BSN, and multiple MSN pathways. CCN also provides two doctoral programs: a PhD in Nursing Science in partnership with UAH and the online Doctor of Nursing Practice designed to prepare nurse leaders, scholars and educators.

CCN continues to gain national momentum and distinction, reflecting a strong culture of excellence in teaching, research, and clinical preparation supported by faculty deeply committed to shaping the future of nursing.

Our programs emphasize immersive, high‑fidelity simulation experiences and robust clinical partnerships, enabling students to develop confidence and competence across care settings.
