Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm; on-call rotation as assigned
Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients. The RN reviews physicians' orders for accuracy and authorization prior to implementing them; prescribes and initiates nursing treatment through direct, assisted or delegation to other staff.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent. State of Alabama valid/current Registered Nurse License.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates who are not current Brewer-Porch Children's Center employees must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
