Pay Grade/Pay Range:  59 Monthly (exempt): - Minimum - $ 47590.44 Midpoint - $ 68993.64


Department/Organization: 209201 - CCS IT Department


Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm


Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Manager oversees the daily administration of a specific program or department within the College of Continuing Studies to ensure all responsibilities are executed in a timely manner.


Additional Department Summary: The Business Intelligence Manager develops and delivers innovative solutions to meet specific goals for the College of Continuing Studies. Coordinates with staff, faculty, campus partners, and CCS staff in providing data insights to meet the needs of the college. Remains involved in every stage of data analysis from proposal, development, implementation, to assessment.

May be eligible for remote work.


Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of professional work experience in higher education, instructional technology, business analytics, and management information systems; OR master’s degree and three (3) years of experience in higher education, instructional technology, business analytics, management information systems.


Skills and Knowledge: Ability to conduct research and apply findings on best practices and new technologies. Ability to communicate effectively with CCS staff, IT staff, University faculty, instructional designers, and campus partners. Knowledge of data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, JMP, SAS, Python, R) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS Visual).


Preferred Qualifications: Experience in academic research and online teaching. Experience with data analysis software (SPSS, JMP, SAS, Python, R, etc.), data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, SAS Visual, etc.), and data collection platforms (Qualtrics, Salesforce, Slate, etc.).
