Pay Grade/Pay Range:  56 Hourly (non-exempt) - Minimum - $ 14.49 Midpoint - $ 21.15

Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:45 pm


Job Summary: The Audio Visual Integration Specialist II provides independent and advanced level installation and maintenance of integrated AV systems on campus. May assist in AV system design and programming and may serve as project lead. Provides technical live event support to campus groups.


Additional Department Summary: Technician will be required to work independently and accomplish advanced AV systems work in areas such as AV systems installation and commissioning; trouble-shooting complex system issues; advanced level control systems programming; AV system design; technical live event planning, setup, and tear down. May also monitor and respond to calls to the Audio Visual Solutions help-desk. Responsible for working with faculty and staff in the performance of duties as representatives of the department, and position may occasionally serve as a project manager during peak operations periods.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of audio visual installation experience; OR Associate's degree and one (1) year of audio visual installation experience; OR Bachelor's degree and some audio visual installation experience. May require system specific training or certification.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.


Skills and Knowledge: Working knowledge of customer service, project lead principles, and the ability to communicate clearly with end-users will be required.


Preferred Qualifications: CTS and other industry certifications (Extron, Crestron) preferred.
